Vote Connie Bettinger Greater Naples Fire Rescue District Seat 3
Having called Golden Gate home for nearly five decades, Connie Bettinger has spent her life serving the community she loves.
A resident of Golden Gate City since 1972 and a graduate of Barron Collier High School's Class of 1981, she has dedicated her time to supporting local families, children, and community organizations throughout Collier County.
For more than 19 years, she has served as a School Crossing Guard with the Collier County Sheriff's Office, helping ensure the safety of local students. Her commitment to education and literacy includes 18 years on the Library Advisory Board, including five years as Chair, and volunteering as the Cat in the Hat to encourage children to develop a love for reading.
She currently serves on the Golden Gate Community Center MSTU Advisory Board and has volunteered with numerous community organizations over the years, including SHARE Florida, local scouting programs as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout parent, and countless community service projects.
A dedicated member of Kiwanis for more than 22 years, she currently serves as Lieutenant Governor-Elect of Division 22 and President-Elect of the Kiwanis Club of Naples. In recognition of her service, she was honored as Kiwanian of the Year in 2000.
Her connection to the fire service runs deep. Her father served as a Captain with the Golden Gate Volunteer Fire Department, and her family helped raise funds to support the newly formed department during its early years. She fondly remembers the many community fundraising events that helped build the foundation for the fire service that protects residents today.
Throughout her life, she has believed that strong communities are built through service, accountability, and involvement. She is honored to seek election as Commissioner for Greater Naples Fire Rescue District Seat 3 and looks forward to serving the residents of the community she has proudly called home for nearly 50 years.
